I found this lovely green sequin brooch on ebay and turned it into a pendant with a double strand of cotton candy-colored beads. Most brooches will simply hang onto a necklace much like any other pendant, if the pin backing is intact. I’m wearing it in my profile photo. A lovely confection, don’t you think?
